This is us. Your PHI Faculty and Staff. We are the real deal. |
Pictured here are the faculty and staff of PHI. We are the folks that make our program so special (along with our beloved students) and a big part of what sets us apart from other programs. Combined in this photo is over 100 years of homeopathic experience We are in the trenches doing the work. We are not only practicing homeopaths, we are also human. We are doing our own ongoing work to heal ourselves as we work to heal others. We share our teachings from a place of deep experience and knowledge. We’ve done it. We’ve been there. And we are happy to tell you about it, honestly. There are a lot of instructors who can teach you the concepts you need to know to pass the certification exam and meet the minimum requirements - 150 remedies, philosophy, case taking, ethics, repertory, posology, etc. But we teach you so much more. As you read the story of the Hawthorn below, you can see how we blend the myth, poetry, fairy tale and lore of a substance into the teachings of the remedy. We bring each remedy alive, sharing with you the energy of the substance as it has shown up over time in our human experience, culture and stories. We teach you how to feel into a case, listening for those myths to emerge within your client. Perhaps most importantly, we share with you our struggles and our failures. As your instructors, we are not the guru on the mountain. We have been through decades of growing our practices, working with difficult cases and clients, doubting whether we could do it. We have been there and we share our stories with you so you know that when you are challenged, you know that you can do it too. Our graduates go out into practice. They are doing it. They have the courage to begin and to struggle and to keep going. They have support of their PHI community, mentors and classmates who have now become colleagues. As faculty and staff, we are genuine. We will teach you how to sit in loving presence with your client and help you to learn to have love and grace for yourself. Because we are all still learning that too. |
